Is Homosexuality actually good?

I've not studied it, but I have a guess that homosexuality is a genetic tendency that's triggered by pheromones or other affects of dense populations. The more people in an area, the greater the chance of the condition being triggered.

Call it a natural birth control. Beats famine, disease, and war hands down. And the reason why we see physical differences but one twin will be gay or lesbian and the other isn't.

This could be a problem for a small tribal group that needs to go forth and populate. But the advent of birth control makes all this irrelevant.
